Amarone 2007
Fratelli Vogadori is a family wineryon the Vigolo hill in Negrar: the heart of the Valpolicella classico. Fratelli is the italian for brothers and the brothers are Alberto, Gaetano ed Emanuele, there is still our father that help us in the land! All the vineyards are located around the Vigolo hill in Negrar and in the top of the hill we built the winery many years ago. We don’t buy other grapes or wines: all come form the Vigolo hill so you can taste the real tipicity of our wines! Our Amarone, Ripasso, Valpolicella and Recioto are really traditional wines: they are not commercial but wines where you can taste the tipicity, the land and the real essence of the Valpolicella! It is always possible to visit the cellar: walking in the vineyards where you can see the bunches of the Amarone. Vist the fermentation area where there are the steal tanks used for the fermentation of the Valpolicella wines, walking to the barrels area (the Barricaia) where the Amarone has to age at least 2 years before to be bottled and, at the end, taste the wines in the new tasting room with the explanation on the tradition, the land, the grapes and of course of the wines! The winery is locate on the top of Vigolo hill in Negrar where there is a fantastic view of the Valpolicella area! Fratelli Vogadori offers individual guests and groups guided visits and tastings as enjoyable ways to discover the Valpolicella, Fratelli Vogadori and its wines. The guided visits allow guests to discover the details of the Valpolicella area rich in vineyards, olive trees and cheery trees, the local traditions, and the secrets behind how we produce the wines in our range : Amarone, Recioto, Ripasso, Valpolicella and Raffaello
